Laura TRADII

Dr Laura Tradii is a historian specialising in the social and cultural history of war, with a particular focus on the practices, debates, and ethics pertaining to the exhumation and reburial of fallen soldiers in the aftermath of the First and Second World Wars.
With her current British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship she investigates the management of Wehrmacht fallen soldiers and their burials in the Soviet Occupation Zone and German Democratic Republic (1945-1990).
She holds a PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of Cambridge, and a MSc in the History of Science, Medicine, and Technology from the University of Oxford.
